curses (Isaiah 5:8-24)

1. wordly wealth

v 8 "Woe to those who add HOUSE to house and join FIELD to field until everywhere belongs to them and they are the sole inhabitants of the land."

2. worldly pleasures

v 11 "Woe to those who from early morning chase after STONG DRINK , and stay up late at night inflame with wine.... Never a thought for the works of YWH, never a glance for what his hands have done."

3. perverts if the truth

v 20 "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness...."

4. corrupt judges

v 23 "Woe to those who for BRIBE aquit the guilty ...

5. unjust cheaters

... and CHEAT the good man of his due.

6. reject YWH's laws

v 24 "... for rejecting the Law of YWH Sabaoth, and despising the word for the Holy One of Israel."
